Nestled between two hills, Scharrachbergheim-Irmstett, is located in the "Couronne d'Or" ("Goldcrown") vineyard, the northern starting point of the famous Alsace wine route. It would be a pity to stay here and not enjoy the charm of this peaceful village and its vineyards. You will discover many treasures there such as the Protestant church with remains from the 11th century, the castle built between the 15th and 19th centuries as well as beautiful half-timbered houses ... You will have from Scharrach hill or Odratzheim hill, a beautiful view of the village and its surroundings.

200 m. from the gîte, the old railway line, connecting Strasbourg to Wasselonne, has been transformed into a cycle path which will allow you to join the famous Eurovélo 5. Whether for a simple ride or for a more sporty outing, it will allow you to discover the region by bike in complete safety. Do not hesitate to bring your own, we provide you with a bicycle room.
